NTS RW Racing GP, in consultation with Jesko Raffin's management, has decided not to bring the Swiss to the start of the Emilia-Romagna GP this weekend. The team hopes to be able to present a replacement for the race at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli shortly.
“Last weekend, also at Misano, we saw that Jesko has not yet recovered sufficiently,” said NTS RW Racing GP team manager Jarno Janssen. “The decision that he will not start for the time being, is with a heavy heart, because Jesko really wants to perform and so do we, but it just isn't wise. It is precisely in this period, with the next eight races in ten weeks, that the ability to recover is of great importance and that is not enough at the moment. Jesko will not return until he is 100 percent fit. It is impossible to indicate when that will be, but we hope as soon as possible.”
